OUR STORIES
We are a warm, welcoming and loving community trying to bring spirit and joy back into our town, we first started this many years ago back in 2009, when we was called Target North Hirst, due to our good work, we started to get recognition by the council to further expand down the Hirst area.

We plan to do many events and activities to help get the connection back into the community, with things such like the; fix it fund, litter picker day/ clean up day, Easter, Summer, Halloween & Christmas parties!!

If you would like to find out any more information regarding the different activities and events we do please click onto the read more button below.
We at the Heart of the Hirst plan to bring love, life and pride back into the Ashington community and surrounding areas.

Clean up day
(Litter picking)
i recently went to the clean up day organised by Heart of the Hirst, on the day my friend and i was walking around picking up litter, we had a laugh and really enjoyed helping our community.
A couple recently moved into their new home, but couldn't afford to fix/repair their back gate, due to our fix it fund program and them living in the hirst community we was able to give a helping hand.
